4.脉冲电流法
    这种方法和脉冲电压法一样,也是通过向故障电缆中施加直流高压信号,使故障点击穿放电,然后通过仪器接收并测量出故障点放电产生的脉冲电流行波信号在故障点和测量端往返一次的时间,来计算出故障距离的一种方法。不同的是,该方法是在直流高压发生器的接地线上套上一只电流耦合器,来采集线路中因故障点放电而产生的电流行波信号,这种信号更容易被理解和判读,同时电流耦合器与高压部分无直接的电气连接,因此安全性更高。

5.ERCIMAICHONGFA

    这是近几年来出现的比较先进的一种测试方法。是基于低压脉冲波形容易分析、测试精度高的情况下开发出的一种新的测距方法。

    这种方法主要用来测试高阻及闪络性故障的故障距离,这类故障一般能产生弧光放电,而低阻故障本身就可以用低压脉冲法测试,不需再考虑用二次脉冲法测试。用这种方法测得的波形比脉冲电流或脉冲电压法得到的波形更容易分析和理解,能实现自动计算,且测试精度较高。
依据脉冲计数方法的不同,也可被称为三次脉冲法或多次脉冲法。
